Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor, is most well-known for his part in the tv show Law & Order Special Victims Unit. While in college Christopher Meloni was attracted to the world of acting. He pursued a degree in acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. While he's appeared in both films and television, it is his characters on the small screen that brought him fame and a large fans. He can play each of the characters on behalf of the police as well as the other. This is what makes him so popular. When he first appeared on television, for his debut project, he played a serial murderer. Then, he played the character of an NYPD Investigator. The actor has been nominated several times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his small screen performances. The striking blue eyes that have been said to make him look handsome. They've helped him portray tough characters in a charming style. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
